Each year the Mass High School Football Prospects Information (MHSFPI) with the cooperation
of the MHSFCA, publishes a high school football prospect book containing information on
prospective seniors. The book is sold to college football staffs to assist them in their recruitment
of players in Massachusetts. Former Whitman-Hanson Head Coach Bob Bancroft and former
Whitman-Hanson Business Department Head Richard Davis, co-chair this successful venture.
All football coaches in the state will receive information about the book through their league
representatives at the November league meetings. It is extremely important for all coaches to fill
out the statistics on their junior players as soon as possible and return the data to Bob and
Richard. The more returns, the better the book. The book is a useful tool for all colleges and has
greatly assisted hundreds of players in fulfilling their college football dreams. All proceeds from
the sale of the book are donated to the Shriners Hospital in Boston.
