                                   Paul Costello Courageous Player Award




The MHSFCA Executive Board would appreciate nominations from high school football coaches for the Paul Costello
Courageous Player Award.  The presentation of this award will take place at the Annual Awards Banquet in April. This
award was created by Paul Costello;  the longtime football coach and executive treasurer of the MHSFCA. In 1999, this
award was named in Paul’s honor in recognition for his many years of service to high school football in Massachusetts.
This award is presented to a senior player on your squad who has played while physically challenged, has endured a
hardship or in some way has served as an inspiration to your team. The player nominated must have demonstrated –
teamwork, spirit and sportsmanship. This award is for any young man who has played “Above and Beyond” and merits
special recognition. Please send a resume of any senior player that meets the above qualifications.
